Abandoned

Abandoned  is concerned with the question of how a place gradually falls out of a biography. The works draw on motifs associated with dwelling, shelter, and familiarity, translating them into reduced and often fragile constellations. Some elements remain recognisable, others are covered over, displaced, or only faintly suggested.

At the centre is a transition: a life context dissolves, but its spatial forms remain. The images explore how this process can register within pictorial space — not as a dramatic rupture, but as a slow shift in attachment, attention, and meaning. Abandonment appears here not as a final condition, but as an open question about what remains.
