Stilt Walkers
The stilt walkers move across uncertain ground as if they had invented a new way of walking. Their elongated legs create distance from water, scree, and dangerous animals, but at the same time they demand a life in constant instability. Every step requires concentration; any misstep can mean a fall — a practice in which protection and vulnerability are inseparably intertwined.
